TSCHAUNER
BÜHNE
The "Tschauner Bühne" was founded in 1909 and today is the last regularly played impromptu theater in Europe. The Viennese institution has been based in Ottakringer Maroltingergasse for six decades now and can look back on a long
and eventful history.
In 2018, the impromptu game of the Tschauner stage was included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.
